Leaving in Manila and having a families of our own, gives us
lesser time or opportunity to visit our Uncles and Aunties. Two of my Uncles are already base abroad, Papa Emoy in Norway
and Papa Narding is in Spain. But all of my Aunties are in Bicol. Thus, bringing them together the chances are once in a blue
moon.
Uncles being on vacation here at the same time, and our Mom
and Aunt Lesing come with them to Lugana after they have spent weeks in Bicol. We visited them in Los Banos at Papa emoy’s
house and we’re able to spent time with them. Seeing the four of them together
at one roof, having aged, and with their white hairs but looked so happy and
cool are priceless. So thankful to God that with all the things our family
faced through, He keeps our strength and faith.
Papa Emoy as the host cooked dinner for us. While three of
his siblings are like King and Queens of England J.
We spent the rest of the night with fun conversations until everyone feels to
go to bed. We, the ladies, slept in room, even there are other rooms available.
We just want to be together, like we’re little kids. Feel their warmth hug and
kisses before falling to sleep.
Following day, we heard mass together. Giving thanks for that
very rear opportunity. For Uncles, would go back to their adopted countries the
following week. And it would take another year for them to be Home again,
especially Papa Narding. After the mass, a refreshing pinoy halo-halo is perfect
to have and shared with before we headed back to Manila.
And the weekend is perfectly well spent with our very loved Elders. <3 <3 <3
