Manila to Banaue is almost 8 to 9 hour travel. We leave at Manila around 11:15 PM via Ohayami Bus Transit and we arrived at Banaue terminal 7:35 AM. Our initial plan is to drop to Bontoc first before going to Sagada, but since transport jeep is not easy to find and we're bit groggy we decided to take the Van straight to Sagada.
Along are way to Sagada, the spectacular Banaue rice terraces is being view thru our window. I can't help not to capture photos even the van is moving a bit fast. But our driver, assured us that we can view and take a photo on it perfectly. Because all the tourist van, always take a side trip to the view area since it's just along the way.
It take us also 15-20 minutes and seeing the Rice terraces that close, it's a WOW feeling for me. First I saw it just in the books and now it's in front of me barely. The stunning creation by our ancestors over a hundred years ago, and it's now part of the Eighth Wonder of the World.
