Exploring Marikina City

HiM and I both have Sunday rest day. And our main schedule is to go to the church to attend mass. Most often in the afternoon, so that it's okey to wake up late in the morning. But since for today, we have to meet someone in Cubao at early after lunch we have to leave home early. On our way going to Cubao, we talked going somewhere else after we meet Kuya Lito, place that we could attend mass and explore after. And the first thing that come to his mind is Marikina City. He stay there for 3 years, so, he is quite familiar with the place.

Marikina City is the Shoe Capital of the country. Good quality of shoes for export one of the best product of the city. Aside from that, the discipline of its citizen are really admirable. Marikina City is the most cleanest city in Metro Manila and I could say City is organized too.

We attend mass at Immaculate Conception Parish. It's my first time to attend mass here, so I'm a little observant. Beautiful church interior inside and out, though the church is just along the main highway. But you will not be disturbed of blowing horns, because no blowing horns is strictly observed outside while the mass is on going. It's so peaceful and solemn during the mass.

After the mass, we dropped at Riverbanks. Since, sun still up, we decided to go first inside Riverbanks mall. I looked to buy leather casing for my Tab and phone. We went to some store for window shopping, until 5:30 pm we decided to go to Riverbanks park, which is just at the back of the mall. Nice place to hangout with friends or family. Have picnic on the ground. Do biking, roller skates or other bonding activities. There are also some rides that kids would enjoy. No need to get worried if getting hungry because there are restaurants and bars around the place.

And on the other side of the Riverbanks park, you could see SM Marikina City. There is a temporary bridge connecting both sides for people can passed through from Riverbanks to SM Marikina. It take us only 15 mins,  and we're in SM already. From there, we take a cab going to Market Market, and have our dinner before we go home.

It was a super Sunday. And I'm looking forward for more cities to explore.

Happy for Two years :)

Excited for this day to come, celebrating our two years as honeybeesss :). We reserved a dinner at Murray's New Orleans restaurant in Mall of Asia. But due to some expected changes in Payts schedule we have to cancelled our reservation. And have change of plan.

We don't have much time, since we meet already past nine and we have worked schedule the following day. We just decided to take dinner at Shakey's Pizza in Blue Wave. So simple yet I feel it special.

We're not best couple. But we have good relationship. We've been though a lot of ups and downs. And it's our love to one other that make this relationship last for two years. And we're looking forward for more years to come and make this last forever. I know, we can worked it through.

Thank you Dear God of this two years, and be with us for the all the next years that will come. Bless us and guide us as we go through life in this relationship. May your love be our inspiration to continue to love each other 'till we grow old.

Mahal ko thank you for all the love and care. And I will love you more each day.

Forgetful Dreams

I had a dream recently, and I remember it so clearly, every single details from places and whom I'm with. I shared it to my friend that he is in my dreams. Then, he asked me, how many GB your brain memory has? Because, he said when he had a dream he always forget it all when he wakes up.

I really don't know if he people have different memory brain capacity, which I do believe we all have  the same. Though, there are people whom they called have a photographic memory. Not so often I remember my dreams, I have only few. Sometimes I just remember it partly. But most, I forget it all too when I woke up, and no matter how I tried to remember it, I really can't. Though, I only want to remember those happy dreams I know I have, those bad one... better not too :)

Smiles

As I promised, to give them pencils, sharpener and erasers for their National Achievement test. Seeing their smiles and happy faces is to much to worth the prize I give. Wishing them all the best of luck during their exam. I know they can make it, I believe in them. They can make a difference. They can make the school proud.

Hello Ms. Beautiful

Early today, I received e-mail form someone, addressing me with... Hello Ms. Beautiful, I not being conceited here but it really makes my day. ( ang arte ko!!! hahaha). I know very well, that someone just want to add humor to the message. But it feels good receiving message containing good words lightens up the day.

Since, being beautiful was given to me today, I'll stand to it now :), besides, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And me personally I always have my own ways being beautiful in and out... Thank you.

Simple Treat from HiM

When he got his new job last February, he promised me that he is going to treat me on his first salary. I wink, :), because treating me to eat outside in his own expenses is once in a blue moon to happened. Mostly, it was shared expenses. He prefer to cooked food at home rather than eating outside. His reasons are, less expenses and we can have quality time. Which I agree, no hustle, no long walking to do. hehehe.

Last Saturday, since he promised, he has to do it :), but, I think the odds really favored him. He had unexpected overtime at work and I had to go to Manila to buy some school stuff for my niece. We both have a long day already so instead of going to a fine dine-in restaurant as we planned. We just go to a nearby McDonald. Have a brewed coffee, burger and fries. 

Simple treat, simple things yet feeling so special.

Unwanted Text

Early in the morning today, I received unwanted text from unknown number. Words hurts me, words judges me... though at the end of the messages it says, he/she is just concern with me that no need to be recognized. I replied, letting them know that I don't mind and I don't care about the messages sent to me.

Only God can judges me. In Bible, He will brings the truth and light whatever was hidden in darkness and will disclose the secret intentions of the hearts. I surrender everything to Him. For I know, no one can do harm in me because He is with me.

Little things

Little things takes time to grow,
but worth investing in.
