Yummy! Pancit Bato

It was plan to visit Ate Azi and Kuya Pau yesterday. On the way going there, I was really excited, for I know well, that I could taste good food. Hahahaha.

The couple, like me is also a bicolano, and for that perhaps we share common taste bud when it comes to "Pancit. Pancit Bato is a bicol specialty product. It was originated from Bato, Camarines Sur, were I think, got also it's name.

And Kuya Pau cooked this super yummy and delicious Pancit Bato for our merienda. Pancit bato can be cook as guisado or with a little sauce. It can even be cook even without the usual vegetable for pancit. But of course I'm a visitor so it must be special (wink wink).

Stress??!!!

I have an OB appointment for my follow up check-up. After the medical secretary get my personal information, she has to check my blood pressure, and after three attempt she ask me if I feel dizzy and feel something not normal because I have a very low BP.I replied quickly that, I’m feeling good, and I’m fine. Then she checked again, and confirmed, that result doesn’t change and my BP is 70/40. Yes, that low.

I proceed to my doctor and she discuss to me the results of may laboratory exams and give me some prescriptions. Because of my low BP, she advise me to eat more and have enough good sleep. She also added to free myself from stress.

And because I’m an obedient patient, I took my doctor’s advice right away. Eat more foods and free from stress. And I'll have a good sleep later. :)

Tuguegarao Special Pancit Batil Patung

Before we headed going to Tuguegarao, I already did a research about the city, including food specialty. Most write ups recommend this Pancit Batil Patung.  Arrived late afternoon in Tuguegarao and while looking for our hotel, we come crossed to "Jomar's Special Batil Patung" panciteria. We came from a long ride so we're quite tired and hungry, and my tummy is really asking for it. :)

Settling down inside the panciteria, I ask hubby to take our orders. And he go for two order of super special. It's 80 pesos per order. While waiting, costumer can chop onions for soy sauce. After about 10 minutes our order came. And I was like .... WOW!!! The serving is like 2-3 persons. And the toppings are all over the top. I have to dig for the pancit :) ... It has chunks of chicken liver, chicharon, sunny side up egg, slice of suasage, carrots and beans. Upon having my first fork, ohlahhh!!! taste so good. Flavor of miki with taste its toppings, the crispness of chicharon combined together... THE BEST TASTE PANCIT EVER!!!

Given the chance to visit Tugugarao, don't miss to try "Jomar's Special Pancit Patung".

Banna Rice Coffee

After our first day tour, Laoag-Pagudpud, we`re back at the hotel early in the afternoon, around 4:00 PM. Instead of taking a nap,  Payting and I decided to have a walk around Laoag City, Central Plaza.
We roam around about an hour, until such time we feel our tummy's craving for food. We came up in this cafe at the back of Museo, Ilocos Norte, the Johnny Moon Cafe.  I feel coffee would be good for the weather is a bit gloomy.
I ordered this Banna Rice coffee, I usually drink rice coffee when I was a kid, and I super like the taste especially the aroma. But, I was kinda surprise when I taste this Banna rice coffee, it`s really good, smooth blend added with little sweet of muscovado sugar, taste perfect and the aroma smells so good.
You must taste this, when you head to Laoag City. Promise you will enjoy this cup of coffee.
